Our Administrative Team
Our admin team is here to help with all your scheduling, financial, and insurance needs. Most often, they’re the first smiling faces you’ll see when you come into the office. They’re always available to answer any question you may have and want to make your time here as pleasant, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.
Callie
Operations Manager
I have worked my way through the office holding many positions since starting in 1999. Today I work closely with the doctors and office managers to ensure that all the business aspects of the practice are functioning in an orderly and proficient manner so our team can focus on what’s really important: our patients!
My husband and I live in Girard. We have three children, two boys in college and a daughter starting high school… not quite an empty nest yet! In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts, camping, and family vacations.

Office Manager – Downtown
I work hard to foster a genuine connection with patients and find witnessing their satisfaction with the care they receive to be incredibly rewarding. Our team has a strong sense of collaboration and shared commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Everyone, from front desk staff to hygienists and doctors, works cohesively to create a positive experience for patients and ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
I have been married to my husband since 2018, and we share our home with our sweet (and possibly spoiled) dog. He's a heeler who keeps us on our toes! Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.

Patient Care Coordinator
I attended dental assisting school and worked as a dental assistant for 17 years before transitioning to an administrative role. I enjoy being part of a team that cares about our patients and takes great pride in doing the very best for each one. We all work well together, making the day go as smoothly as possible.
I've been incredibly blessed with a husband of more than 30 years, two wonderful adult daughters, two dogs, and two cats! I love listening to audiobooks and relaxing in the pool during the summer months and sitting in the sauna during the fall and winter months.

Patient Care Coordinator/Floating Dental Assistant
My favorite part of being on the Modern Dental Group team is seeing how much happier patients are when they have a smile that they are proud of. I also really enjoy learning new things and I feel very fortunate to have learned so much from our doctors and my coworkers. You can tell from the moment you walk in that every single person here has a passion for helping people.
I'm happily married and love spending time outdoors. Camping is one of my favorite ways to unwind, and I enjoy kayaking whenever I get the chance. I'm also a big fan of reading; there’s nothing like getting lost in a good book! At home, I’ve got a cute little wiener dog named Moose who keeps things fun and lively.

Insurance Manager
I joined Modern Dental Group in 1997, and in that time, I’ve come to consider the people here like family. Some are literally family, like Callie, who is my niece! I started as a Patient Care Coordinator and been the Insurance Manager since 2006. I am responsible for perparing and processing insurance claims and pre-authorizations. Maintainig current participation status with insurance companies and maintain finacial integrity by balancing daily financial operations.
I've been married to my husband Scot since 1990. We have a son, daughter-in-law, and a grandson who is the love of my life. We also have a pit/mastiff named Gary and an English bulldog “grand dog” named Mayvis. I recently started golfing and I have a love/hate relationship with the sport, but I enjoy golfing with my husband. We haven’t gotten into too many fights yet!
Rhiannon
Claims Coordinator
I attended Great Lakes Institute of Technology for Dental Assisting, completed my externship in 2010 at Modern Dental Group, and never left! While I currently process insurance claims, I can fill in as a dental assistant or scheduling coordinator when needed. I've been called the “Jill of all Trades” here at the office, having held many positions since 2010!
I was born and raised in the Erie/Waterford area. My husband and I have been married since 2014 and have two children and a golden retriever named Murphy. I love to visit Waldameer and Presque Isle with my family in the summer, but fall is my favorite (for pumpkin flavored things and football—Go Eagles!). In the community, my family participates yearly in the Walk for Autism, as well as the Miracle League of Erie County.
Melissa
Office Manager - West
I enjoy being part of a team that’s dedicated to patient care. Although I’m not directly providing treatment, I know that the work I do at the front desk plays an important role in the overall patient experience. Whether it’s easing someone’s nerves before a visit or helping with a scheduling issue, it feels good knowing that I’m contributing to a positive and efficient dental practice.
When I’m not in the office, I love spending time with my 11 grandchildren. You can also find me rooting for the local high school basketball team!
Michelle
Hygiene Coordinator
I have worked in the dental field for more than 40 years as a dental assistant. Along the way I've also held positions as a Front Desk Coordinator and Manager. I have enjoyed learning new skills to make my new role in administration a success. I work with our hygiene team and our patients, scheduling recall appointments so each person has all the time they need to make the most of their appointments.
In my free time I enjoy getting together with my card club, gardening and reading. I love the outdoors and try to get out whenever possible!
Our Hygiene Team
Research shows how important good dental hygiene is for our overall general health. Our dental hygienists educate and motivate patients to take the best possible care of their oral health by providing routine dental cleanings, taking X-rays, reviewing medical histories, and applying sealants and fluoride treatments. They offer nutritional counseling and give our patients tips on healthy choices as well!

I attended the University of Pittsburgh Dental School for my dental hygiene degree, graduating in 1994. In the 20 years I’ve been at Modern Dental Group, I’ve enjoyed building relationships with my patients and seeing their accomplishments with their home care.
I am married with two children who keep me pretty busy when I’m not at work!
Deena
I began my dental career as an assistant before continuing my education to become a dental hygienist. My work allows me to build personal connections and make in impact on the lives of my patients. I enjoy creating a supportive, collaborative environment that makes patient care smoother and rewarding.
I am married to Matt and am a proud mother of my daughter, as well as Head Coach of McDowell Cheerleading.
Katie
I attended the University of Pittsburgh for both my dental hygiene certification and my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Management. With 20 years of experience, I’ve seen a lot of patients smile after getting their teeth cleaned, especially if it’s been awhile. I love my patients, seeing their lives change and their families grow.
“It’s ok to love Erie!” I was born and raised right here in Erie, PA, which I have loved! I come from a very large family, who for the most part still live here. I am a very active person, loving the Erie sunsets, outdoor activities, and family time especially on the water. I am very lucky to be married to my best friend Peter and raising our amazing son Landon here.

I earned my dental hygiene certification at the University of Pittsburgh and my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at West Virginia University. My favorite part of my job is helping my patients achieve good dental health. I love the variety of patients I meet and getting to know them! After being here for so long many of patients seem more like family to me!
I’ve been married to my husband Steve since 1997, the same year I started working for Modern Dental Group! Our oldest daughter Christianna is a graduate of NC State and is currently studying veterinary medicine at the University of Illinois. Our youngest Noella entered middle school this year. She keeps me busy with her many activities, as does our little puppy, Ruby! The rest of my free time is spent staying involved at our church, St. Lawrence, where I’m a Lector, third grade Catechist, co-leader for our Faith Formation program, and a member of our Ladies of the Rosary. I also squeeze in some Jazzercise!
Brissa
I am a 2018 graduate of Fortis Institute of Erie with an Associate's in Dental Hygiene. I enjoy building relationships with my patients and having a positive impact on their lives by improving their oral and overall health. Our practice has earned a reputation for truly caring about our patients and the quality work we do, and I’m glad to be a part of it!
I was born and raised in Erie and am fluent in both English and Spanish due to my Mexican heritage. My hobbies include staying active, exploring Erie's food scene, and spending time with loved ones. I currently reside in Millcreek with my fiancé Preston while we await our wedding in 2026!
Maggie
I am a University of Pittsburgh graduate with more than 20 years of experience, and I’m dedicated to exceptional patient care. It’s so important to me to create an amazing experience for my patients, educating them and building lasting connections that last generations.
Outside of work, I value time with my family and being outdoors, including golfing, skiing, paddle boarding, gardening, and walking our family dog, Pippy.
Season
I have a degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene from the College of Southern Nevada. While my duties revolve around maintaining my patients’ oral hygiene and educating them on good home care, what I really enjoy are the personal relationships I’ve made. I love getting to know about them and their families and hearing their life stories.
I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and lived in Las Vegas for 28 years. My husband and I moved to Erie in 2023 along with our four dogs and three cats. I spend my free time volunteering at Because You Care animal shelter and supporting the police athletic league.

I have an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene and have been in the dental field since 2016. My favorite part of my job is providing a relaxed experience while helping people achieve their healthiest smiles. I feel so fortunate to work with our doctors and the rest of the team because they are just as passionate about providing personalized dental care and educating patients as I am!
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, and our miniature Australian shepherd!

Hey there! I’m Lisa! I earned my Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2015 from Fortis Institute, joining my siblings here at Modern Dental Group shortly thereafter! Everyone on our team brings their own knowledge and professionalism to our office, and I’m proud to work with such skilled hygienists, assistants, and doctors who truly have patient care as their first priority.
I love spending time with my boyfriend, Joel, my friends, and large family. I have two dogs, a golden doodle named Billie and a new addition named Blu who is a “tri-paw” pup. I care deeply for animals! I like to spend my free time in the summer doing any kind of water activity or sport and in the winter, I hunker down and spend time working around my house. I enjoy all the seasons Erie has to offer!
Our Dental Assistants
Our dental assistants are here to make your experience in our office as easy and stress-free as possible. Usually found working alongside our dentists, our assistants help with many of the procedures and treatments you’ll receive at our office. They are dedicated individuals who look forward to building a relationship with you and your family. Our assistants stay up to date with the newest and best technology in order to serve you better and continue their training throughout the year. They look forward to helping to bring you optimal oral health and a great smile for life!
Amanda
I have worked in the dental field for over 20 years and earned my Expanded Functions Dental License in 2018. I enjoy being of service to others, whether it’s helping them better understand their hygiene needs and recommended treatment, or simply offering them compassion while they are in the office.
I am a wife and a mother of two sons, and the youngest of six in a large, close-knit family. Alongside my dental career, I live a holistic-focused lifestyle, and I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda Wellness and Integrative Health. I am also a certified breathwork facilitator. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature: hiking, fishing, camping, or creek walking with my family.
Kellie
The best part of working at Modern Dental Group is the people! I love our patients and want to give them a comfortable, educational dental experience at each and every visit. I’m also very fortunate to work with our wonderful doctors and staff. We all go above and beyond to make sure our patients are happy!
I am married with two adult children and four cats. I also raise monarch butterflies! I love planting native flowers and bushes in my pollinator gardens in which they can thrive. My other hobbies include sewing and bike riding.

As I am certified in expanded functions, I really like that I can take on more responsibility when it comes to our patients’ care. I enjoy the technical aspects of the treatments we provide, and work hard to make sure our patients receive the highest quality of care available. Dr. DeMarco is the best teacher, mentor, and all-around great boss. We love making people smile again!
Outside of the office, I love working out, running, and learning new things.

I am fortunate to work with a team of such dedicated professionals. My position allows me to utilize my skills and training to help create beautiful smiles! The most rewarding aspect of my job is meeting new people every day and helping them improve their oral health.
